Why is my anti virus not showing up in app tray?

i have avira antivir pe classic and its on in task manager but theres nothing in the app tray

It's possible that there are lots of icons in your "tray", and that it simply is hidden among the teeming masses.

Obviously, if it's in the Task Manager, then it's running, which is the most important thing.

If you need to change a setting in that program, search for it (most likely in your "Programs" subfolder), then double-click on whichever one looks like the main program or an options program (not the install program, which, most likely, isn't there, anyway).
