yes. you can try go to control panel, and click on security center, and choose the virus protection , and click on recommendations, and choose the botton "How?" next to get another antivirus program. there is a list of free virus protection, but they all have free periods, during these 3-12 month period, you get the benefit from these programs for free. I recommend F-Secure, it use only a little of system memory, so it puts little pressure on your computer, so your computer will run faster.

notons is a resource hog. so unless you have a kick butt system it will slow your computer down alot. plus alot of peopel says it dont find all the viruses and peopele has gotten viruses with nortons running.

avg has caught ever single virus on my computer so far. so why mess with a good thing
