Whats the best anti-virus protection download?

I prefer AVG Anti-Virus (from www.grisoft.com). It seems pretty reliable, has a pretty decent 'out of the box' installation and, for individuals, is free. They have a variety of products for Windows %26 Linux in workstations and in server installs. %26gt;Even a free one, but you have to hunt for it.%26gt;

From my experiences between AVG, McAfee %26 Norton, AVG has the least impact on running on your system.

**DO NOT FORGET**

Security needs to be a multi-level install of protection since viruses %26 spyware seldom uses the same attack methods.

Goto someonewhocares (link below) to get yourself a HOSTS file. The directions of where to put it are in the file. It is a mega-handy file to keep updated on your system.

I also prefer Spybot for my anti-spyware defense.

i have Symantec for over 6 months and i never had problems with viruses since then
Bitdefender and Kaspersky and AVG are very good..

I suggest Bitdefender 9.0 it has a fire wall and Antispy
