Since installing it the photo i had as a desktop background has gone and i cant actually change the desktop picture at all. i can change the colour but not add a picture. my computer is also running very slowly now. any ideas??
After installing AVG anti virus free download i did a scan and it found one trojan horse.?free antivirus
along with AVG i suggest you install Spybot - Search %26 Destoy. Spybot is efficient in cleaning up Trojans, spywares and adwares. AVG scans and detects but sometimes fails. Along with these two a real time system monitor like WinPatrol will prove a lethal weapon against these viruses,trojans,spywares and adwares. Morever these are very light on youor system and free to use. However it does not derade their effectiveness.

clean it using avg or an anti-virus software; it is also good to search the trojan at the search window of symantec.com (maker of norton); sometimes they have a free tool to search and destroy specific trojan or virus - but you must know specifically what trojan are you dealing with.
prephas ur system still has viruses and while AVG cleans it might have removed some of ur system files also....AVG is not
