Default password is "symantec"

This is what you should do if the default password didn鈥檛 work.

1) Go to Start -%26gt; Run and type regedit

2) Navigate to:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\ SOFTWARE\ INTEL\ LANDesk\ VirusProtect6\ CurrentVersion\ Administrator Only\ Security\

3) Double click on the value name 鈥淯seVPUninstallPassword鈥?and change the value from 1 to 0

4) Close the registry and retry the uninstall.

If this doesn't work, then that might be a corporate version (Server based) in which a network/security admin set a common password for all machines. (locked down so users can't uninstall for security purposes). In this case, ur pretty skrewd, unless you are good at removing registry entries. (all pertaining to this application..

Hope this helps.
