For me, AVG free edition. It's user friendly and updates on its own. My computers run 24/7 with internet and none of them has ever got a virus.

no32 or kaspersky, they are reliable, work fast, update often and don't slow down a computer. norton is great one as well, but it's slow.
Bullguard is pretty good.

Trend Micro is great and extremely powerful antivirus software.

But those who likes freeware.

Avast

Note:Most best antivirus are not free.
Avast its free and scans all the time.
AVG SOFTWARE
Depends if you mean free or paid software! I've tried most, both paid and free - AVG is very good - at the moment I use AVAST! which is also excellent. One tip - don't pay for virus or firewall software! There are many free applications that perform as well (and in some cases better) than the commercial ones. As for a firewall, I use NetVeda Safety.Net. Oh and while on the subject - Spywareblaster is another freebie that protects (and does a fantastic job) your computer from spyware. Here's an interesting link for you to look at http://www.techsupportalert.com/best_46_... Oh, and I disagree with the statement that ''Note:Most best antivirus are not free.'' Some free AV progs have outperformed vendors like Symantic! Try an Internet search for something like ''best virus protection programs''.

Hope this helps
Hi!

McAfee or BitDefender. These are ''Major League''!

Good luck!
I would recommend AVG Free edition or Kaspersky Antivirus. I think you should give one of these a try.
I find BitDefender the best...
