Do people who create anti-virus software in their day job create viruses in their evening job?

Is this how they keep themselves in work?

I can't give sources but yes this is how it used to work at the start, classic fud.

However for a few years it has also been policy of the security industry to employ writers once they have been busted.

Makes sense that the ones who create should also defend.

I have said that for a long time.
To be honest, they don't need to. There are enough other people writing viruses and trojans to create botnets for spamming. Although the Sasser worm was written by a German teenager to drum up business for his mum's IT repair shop... Don't think she could quite handle the millions of victims though.
I very much doubt that they do, but who knows what peopel do in there spare time. I think alot of security related personal are ex hackers etc so they may have done in the past
why dint this come in my mind before.great question.will rock the PC world .it should be the topic of discussion
I'm sure as hell they do those conniving bastards !!!
