How can I delete the McAfee anti-virus from my PC?

Someone executed the McAfee on my computer to delete the viruses in it then He found out that the caspersky is more powerful so he tried to delete the McAfee and after he fininshed and when trying to execute the caspersky he couldn't because the Mcafee was not totally deleted so when we tried to find any folder for the McAfee we didn't find; How can I delete it completely.?

maybe you can go the add/remove programs at the control panel. by clicking it you can remove it from your pc.

or it is much better that you install your kaspersky anti virus and it will uninstall your mcafee anti virus automatically.

1. Disable both programs, if they still work.

2. go to start-%26gt;control panel-%26gt;ad-remove programs and try to uninstal mcaffe

3. if it does not work, try to reinstall it fully, then uninstal

4. If it still does not work, try uninstall kaspersky, and reinstall it on top.

5. You might need to uninstal/reinstall kaspersky, if its files got corrupted.

6. enable kaspersky and never ever run 2 antiviruses at the same time :)
go to MY COMUTER then @ the top theres a button UNINSTALL/ADD PROGRAMS (if you have windows vista home premium) then simply delete it
Go to the control panel, click add and remove programs, find macafee and continue from there.
it is a common problem quite often registry entries r left over etc. use the mcafee removal tool
