it certainly makes sense, but being a person ''in the know'' there are a lot of hackers that do make viruses to make an older computer do weird stuff. i think it's just a rumor, but it's possible.

Ninjas know the importance of not spreading viruses. I recommend taking your katana to any computer in your house that may have a virus. Even if your not sure. It's better to error on the side of caution.

If you want to have a little fun, sneak up on your computer in the dead of night when it is in hibernation mode. Be silent and be swift!
Although people who work for the company may have at one time (Before working for them) created something like that. When working for the company they are under strict supervision, I am 99% sure that the main companies do not do that otherwise they would loose there contracts with people.
Yeah, but what else can you do without buying their products.
